Away Sky Racer
by Rob Bateman
As the start of a new series of library demos coming your way, we'd like to share with you one of the new Away3D demos unveiled at the recent Flash on the Beach conference in Brighton. Away Sky Racer was created by the French-based Away3D contributor Lo Chamans, using Away3D 4.0 and Away Physics. Controls are WASD or cursor keys, mouse to look around, O to swap control between character and car and C to open controler panel. We'd be especially interested in any feedback on performance as this will continue to be tweaked and optimised as the library code matures.

Well done! Now how about an enlightening tutorial on using fp11 and away3d 4?

I think a tutorial about a specific demo (the above) would be very interesting to many, if it would include:
1) Generally the steps you took to make this demo,
2) emphasis on the tricky parts (where most would have trouble),
3) what you had to do different for the new Away3D v4.0 vs the older, well documented Away3D 3.6
4) the tools (apps, plugins) and resources (models etc) you used.

Looks Good as a Demo, Felt dizzy playing it as a game product. Anyway this is a demo far beyond my expect.
The Physical engine works well, which I guess was realized by the alchemy technoloy of Adobe, so the engine can run with such a high efficiency.
nice job!!!
