The Promotional code has no effect... THey seem to offer a 20% discount all the time
+ When choosing the Bundled offer (book + eBook) They replace the default discount with the Away3d discount, result: the price stays the same ... is this a bug or just sleazy marketing?

I'm very interested in the book though... -> I'm planning on trying some Incubator stuff using away3d 4.0 . So my question is: IS it worth buying Essentials 3.6 when experimenting with the 4.0 alpha version?

With Away3d 4 out, do you think this book would help learn Away 3d 4 too?

Hard to say as it depends what you want to learn. Currently we are looking at major changes in both the materials and animators packages for 4.0. However, a lot of the other external-facing functionality will remain intact. If you are new to Away3D then the book is still a great starting point - also bear in mind that you will not be able to use 4.0 for any project-related development until the new Flash Player is out of beta, which could be a while

It's an interesting offer. Is it providing advanced and new features as compared to the last one?
